Black and Tan Coonhound

A large, determined scenthound developed in the American South to trail raccoons and larger game over rugged terrain, the Black and Tan Coonhound is known for its deep, melodious bay and relentless nose. They are easygoing and gentle at home but transform into focused, tireless workers when on a scent trail.
