Bullmastiff

Created in 19th-century England by crossing Bulldogs with Mastiffs, the Bullmastiff was developed as a gamekeeper's dog to silently track and pin poachers. They are powerful, docile, and naturally protective without being overly aggressive, making them reliable guardians who are surprisingly gentle and low-energy in the home.
