Chinese Crested

The Chinese Crested is an ancient toy breed believed to have been developed in China, where hairless dogs were valued as bed warmers and ship's ratters aboard trading vessels. The breed comes in two varieties—the mostly hairless Hairless and the fully coated Powderpuff—both of which are affectionate, alert, and deeply devoted to their families. Their elegant, fine-boned build, combined with their playful and gentle nature, makes them well-suited to apartment living and companionship with all ages.
