Cocker Spaniel

The smallest member of the sporting group, the American Cocker Spaniel was originally bred to hunt woodcock but has become one of the most popular companion breeds in the United States. They are cheerful, gentle, and eager to please, with their trademark luxurious silky coat, long feathered ears, and soft, expressive eyes giving them an irresistible appeal. Their merry temperament and adaptable nature make them excellent family dogs, though their beautiful coat requires dedicated grooming.
