A majestic, white-coated livestock guardian breed from the Pyrenees Mountains between France and Spain, the Great Pyrenees has protected flocks from predators for centuries. They are calm, patient, and affectionate with family, but possess an independent streak and a strong instinct to patrol and guard, especially at night.
