Ibizan Hound

A graceful, deer-like sighthound from Spain's Balearic Islands, the Ibizan Hound is believed to descend from ancient Egyptian hunting dogs and retains its ancestors' athletic, streamlined build. They are playful, clownish, and surprisingly agile — famous for their ability to jump great heights from a standstill — while remaining gentle and affectionate companions.
