Pharaoh Hound

Despite its ancient Egyptian appearance and name, the Pharaoh Hound is the national dog of Malta, where it has been used for centuries to hunt rabbits on the rocky islands. They are graceful, athletic, and uniquely able to blush — their nose and ears turning a deep rose color when excited — combining a noble bearing with a playful, affectionate temperament.
