Saint Bernard

Famous as the alpine rescue dog of the Swiss Alps, the Saint Bernard is a gentle, massive breed with a patient and kindly nature. They are wonderful with children and families, though their enormous size, heavy drooling, and need for companionship mean they do best with owners prepared for the full giant-breed experience.
